WHAT ARE YOUR THEORIES ABOUT ABUNDANCE?

I heard a fabulous idea about manifesting abundance. I was discussing yesterday's blog post about manifestation with a friend. She was telling me that she is receiving abundance, in the form of bills being paid somehow in a way she doesn't understand. I asked her what her secret was and she told me something really profound. What she said was that one needs to focus on what they need, not the money to meet the need. I like what she said and I like that it is working in her world. 

It is true that abundance is not money and comes in so many other forms. Bashar points that out with his definition of abundance."Abundance is the ability to do what you need to do when you need to do it. .... and after all, that's what it is all about ... doing the things that put you in a place of pure joy!" He sees abundance as having what you need and having the freedom to do it. 

The instructions for our survival and thriving are sent to us. Our mind gets in the way of receiving but animals are good at it. "In every moment the Great Spirit communicates to all creatures everything they need to know. Through ten thousand billion agents- angel, elemental, animal, vegetable and mineral-through the vast and subtle network of living design beyond the weather, before the wind, the truth is ever being transmitted into this world of form."

I trust that it is a benevolent universe that is out to assist and support us and it is a divine orchestration for everyone to get what they need.

Another perspective is from the Elixirs of Life cards, the Abundance card which tells us 
"Abundance is a result of the contribution you make to other people’s lives." This is interesting in that it equates what we receive with what we give. I don't know if there is a quantifier, but it does seem like being in the flow of giving and generosity while being willing to receive allows abundance. I sense so many people, especially spiritually minded people, have a difficult time receiving. 

The Elixirs of Life Card says "Abundance is huge and the biggest measure of all is internal abundance - the abundance you feel within. Inner abundance is what the abundance card seeks to address. By going to work on your inner abundance, your outer world begins to take shape as well." 

That statement agrees with the idea that the inner world creates the outer world. This arises through feeling, and I see abundance as a state of being. I see it as a mode in which we are grateful and positively expecting all that we need and desire to show up. Gratitude is the basis of it. Hearing the instructions from Great Spirit which we each interpret our own way is up to us. It takes being receptive, in receiving mode of allowing things to flow to us. It takes being present to notice, and to do that in every moment possible.
