Let this Be an Invitation to Enter Your Experiment- In Human Design

What can you know if you know your Human Design Chart?
You will learn what kind of "energy being" you are. This means that you discover how the energy body of others effects your and yours effects others. You will learn whether you are more of a sender of energy, or whether you are a reciever. Everyone's energy centers, and there are 9, represent chakras but beyond the traditional 7 chakras. The energy centers are depicted as geometric shapes like triangles and squares in the Human Design Chart. Each has a purpose and meaning; when you are a receiver in your energy centers, you are more likely to feel like other people. Empaths tend to be receivers of energy with more open or undefined energy centers.These shapes in the Human Design Chart (called a bodygraph) are white. A phenomena with undefined centers is that of the not-self. We feel others so much, we experience conditioning from those around us.Certain defense mechanisms make us have doubts about ourselves or act in certain ways that are not us but are from the experience of having open centers. These can be challenges, but knowing about them is liberating. And there are strategies to deal with this empath receiving that many experience.  

Energetically, our auras are like radio towers, either we receive or we send like antennas. If you are sender of energy, you have 5 or more centers (which are geometric shapes on the chart) colored in, and those around you tend to feel like you do and think like you do when in your presence. Most people have a combination open and defined (colored in) energy centers.

This is just the beginning of information about you that is available from a Human Design Chart. You will learn your energy type, and how it operates. The five types are Generator, Manifesting Generator, Projector, Manifestor, and Reflector. Each is designed ot operate energetically in a different way. You also have a strategy for your type. Some people are "splenic" with the Spleen being the authority of their chart. This means they can learn to make decisions from a feeling they get at the very beginning of an invitation or decision to make. Splenic people have to pay attention to what their intuition says and not overthink something after the first opportunity comes in with this feeling data. Other people are designed to wait a few days to make a decision as they are defined by the Solar Plexus or Emotional Center. These people have an emotional wave of optimism and then pessimism about the idea that passes through that they need to experience in order to fully know what they want. It takes time for them to figure it out. Knowing these things about how your blueprint and aura operates helps you to know yourself better and to love yourself better. It helps you to see your uniqueness and unique way of operating in the world. It helps you love yourself and your unique ways of being the way you are.


Furthermore, it helps you see the uniqueness of others. Sometimes people have things that are challenging to deal with in how they operate in the world. So many times, when you learn about the details of their chart, you realize that whatever you experience with them is not personal. It is merely their design that makes them like that. Thus you can learn to love others more unconditionally. In relationships, you can work together to allow your auras and designs to co-mingle. Of course, we are more than our design, but knowing what you are about and what your partner is about or your child's Human Design can help everyone get along better. I really love seeing what happens when two or more come together. We are actually designed to operate in small groups and collectives. 

The Human Design Bodygraph, based on birth time and place, represents the fractal a person is experiencing as part of the greater whole of the human collective. It represents the filter you see through as you. A couple or a group in a family or business comes together and each brings different ways of seeing and aspects that can benefit the greater whole. If people know their uniqueness and how they interact in harmony and synergy. 

I mentioned type and strategy, which are most important things if you are looking up your chart. You can do so at Jovian Archive on the web by entering your birth data. The system of Human Design uses astrology, the chakras, Kaballah, and the I ching. The 64 gates relate to DNA and to the I ching. The gates make channels, and are the numbers that are shown on the chart on the right and left sides. They are also on the Bodygraph Chart in those centers that I mentioned, represented as shapes. The black numbers and lines connected to the numbers are the gates you are most likely to know about in your own personality. The red ones and the red/black ones also are part of your design. Each of these gates has a unique flavor and meaning for the person with that gate. It shows our highest potential and also our challenges to know the detail of these gates and channels in our chart. A highest expression and a lower expression exists, depending on the age, awareness and consciousness of the person with the design. 

For example, there is a gate that in its highest expression is called "the Buddha" and has the potential of self-empowerment and awakening.. In the lower expression, with less awareness, a person can be a verbal gunslinger and say hurtful things without thinking. This is Gate 10 and Gate 20 in the chart. It can be dicey in a relationship, but knowing about it can help those with either of these gates or both to break energetic space when they clash with words. Relationships are so fascinating in Human Design and one of my favorite things to study! 

How our Design Interacts with Others and Relationships

We have magnetic attraction to those with the opposite gates of any channel in which we have one of the gates. If we have a lot of electromagnetism, it creates attraction between opposites of the gates. Somehow they complete each others. Sometimes this is positive and synergistic and sometimes this is challenging. Attraction, through Human Design, can be looked at as mechanical. This can help us understand why we are drawn to another and how we can work together. Friend gates are ones that we have in common with another, and we both may think alike because of this. It is good to have friend gates in a relationship with fewer electromagnetic gates as opposites as too many without the friend gates can be too much. In looking at the charts of two people who are strongly drawn together believing they are soul mates or twin flames, one will see lots of both. There may be some sort of karma thing for the two to work out as well, like giving each other lessons so that both progress on their spiritual evolution even more. 

Know Thyself

Through Human Design, you can know yourself. You can know whether you are a person who needs to put yourself out there, or to respond to what comes to you. Many of us work to hard and try to make stuff happen in our lives and we could kick back a bit more and see what shows up and then respond such as Generators, Manifesting Generators and Projectors. A minority, called manifestors, are meant to take action and have others take over projects and their job is to inform along the way. Generators and Manifesting Generators have energy and like to keep moving and do stuff, like work and physical tasks. Sometimes they take on too much and what is not right for them so that they feel overwhelmed. They can learn how to say yes to only the projects that are correct for them with a reading which will get them started. This prevents them from taking on the wrong projects that will take advantage of their life force energy, doing what others want and not what they want to be doing with themselves. 

Projectors, like myself, are meant to be guides and to help others through invitation. They have lots to share and need to learn to wait for the invitation to share it. For them, advice given to those who are not asking for it can feel critical or unwelcome. Projectors can feel unseen or not recognized in their life, and knowing that this is their innate make up can make this easier. Those with all white energy centers are Reflectors and they are rare unique birds in Human Design as they are meant to taste the community environment in which they live. They taste and reflect back the health of the community they are in, as a barometer to it. A Reflector needs to take a really long time making decisions as their best strategy. 

Entering the Experiment...How Exciting!

What is juicy and exciting about all of this, is that you begin an experiment when you have your first reading. You begin 7 years of trying out the strategies and knowing how what you do actually works for you. You find out if  and how it makes a difference in your life. Your Human Design attracts the right people and opportunities through the magnetism of your aura. Knowing about your design helps you be drawn to the best and most fun possibilities without so much efforting on your part. A reading will also help you understand how you see the world uniquely and help you to know yourself better. Many subtle details are revealed and it gets deeper and more intricate the more you delve into it. All of this is beyond using the mind and logic to make decisions as we have been taught and conditioned. The mind is still there to receive and process data, but we can add strategies that are beyond the mind that are unique to our own Human Design Blueprint, with our way of seeing and being in the world.

A person asked me if a Human Design Reading told you your future, like psychic readings. It is not like that, but it is more a confirmation of who you are and what you already know about yourself. You probably have figured out some of the ways that work for you already, but a reading helps clarify and crystallize that knowing that you already have. It helps to trust in the unfolding of your life a little more. It is like looking into the reflection of who you are and smiling!
